President Kim Il Sung's Outlook on Posterity
Pyongyang, April 16 (KCNA) -- We conduct revolution to provide posterity with happy life. Love for the rising generations just means optimism about the future. Let us take good care of the younger generations for the future of the country and humankind!

As President Kim Il Sung was possessed of such noble outlook on the revolution and posterity, he called our children the king of the country and showed great love for them.

During the arduous anti-Japanese war, he dressed the members of the Children's Corps at Maanshan in new clothes with precious money bequeathed by his mother Kang Pan Sok. He trained them to be stout successors to the revolution, bringing them wherever he went after forming a juvenile company with them.

He, who paid much attention to finding sons and daughters of the fallen comrades-in-arms, instead of finding the remains of his parents after the liberation of the country, took personal care of an orphan at the Supreme Command during the hard-fought Fatherland Liberation War.

After the war, he saw to it that a school was built for war orphans and the 11-year compulsory education system enforced for children.

During his visit to Mangyongdae Revolutionary School, he earnestly requested a hairdresser to take warm care of students, saying it is a good job to dress the hair of children representing the country's future.

So pleased to see children in new school uniforms, he personally took photos of them.

He made sure that a palace of children was built on Jangdae Hill, the best place in Pyongyang, and took measures to build it as a grand edifice covering an area of 50,000 square meters, which was six times larger than the planned one.

Therefore, Korean children are singing happily that they are born in a baby palace and develop their talents in schoolchildren's palaces.
