The congress is to analyze and review in depth the achievements, experiences and the mistakes with their causes and lessons found in the youth league work during the period under review, and to discuss tasks and ways for the youth league to fully display its might as the militant reserve of the Party and as vanguard and shock brigade of the socialist construction in the struggle for carrying out the decisions made at the 8th Congress of the Worker's Party of Korea.
