April 25, Juche 21 (1932) was a historic day when the dream of the Korean people, who earnestly longed for having their genuine revolutionary army, came true, Rodong Sinmun says, and goes on:

Our revolutionary armed forces have achieved prominent feats in pioneering and victoriously advancing the revolutionary cause of Juche for a long time since its foundation.

Under the wise leadership of the President the KPRA played a leading and decisive role in defeating the Japanese imperialist gangsters armed to the teeth and liberating the country. And it made a great contribution to actively supporting the struggle of the world revolutionary people with arms and bringing about the beginning of the collapse of the imperialist colonial system.

The anti-Japanese revolutionary martyrs, weathering snow storms and waging endless bloody battles under the leadership of the President, provided the revolutionary traditions of Paektu, eternal treasure of our revolution - the precious traditions to be carried forward forever generation after generation. What we value most here is the tradition of loyalty to the leader established by the first generation of the revolution.

Thanks to the tradition of loyalty established by the anti-Japanese guerrillas for the first time in the history of the world revolutionary movement, the Korean revolution has firmly preserved its lifeline generation after generation in the face of unprecedentedly harsh ordeals and difficulties, and the DPRK has demonstrated its might as a socialist state winning a victory after another with the irresistible might of the single-minded unity. The feats of the anti-Japanese guerrillas, who provided ideological and spiritual assets guaranteeing the victorious advance of the revolutionary cause of Juche and its final completion, will be etched forever in the history of the country.

Minju Joson calls on all officials and working people to get united single-mindedly around the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un with the fighting spirit of the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters who crossed snowy ridges of Mt Paektu, holding the President in high esteem as the center of unity and leadership.
