On this significant day service personnel of the People's Army, working people, youth and students laid floral baskets before the statues of the great leaders in different parts of the country.

Placed before the statues of the great leaders on Mansu Hill were bouquets and floral baskets in the names of Party, power and armed forces organs, public organizations, ministries, national institutions, units of the Korean People's Army (KPA) and the Public Security Forces (PSF), and organs, enterprises, factories and universities at different levels in Pyongyang.

The visitors made a deep bow before the statues.

Placed before the statues of the great leaders in Kim Il Sung University, the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of Public Security, the Mansudae Art Studio and other parts of the capital city and mosaics portraying their smiling images were bouquets and floral baskets in the names of units of KPA and PSF, organs, enterprises, etc.
