Present at the events were personages of government, political parties, organizations and institutions and people of various circles in Russia.

Figures of the Maritime Territory Administration, Maritime Territory Legislative Assembly and the Vladivostok City Administration said that the visit to Russia by the leader of the DPRK was a significant event which provided a firm foundation for invariably developing the Russia-DPRK relations.

They expressed their determination to make positive efforts to cement and develop the friendly relations between the two countries as required by the new times.

Saying that the Russia-DPRK summit meeting drew world attention, the first secretary of the Amur Regional Branch Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation said he was convinced that the Russia-DPRK friendly relations with long-standing tradition would as ever develop in conformity with the desire and demand of the peoples of the two countries.

Personages of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia wished the Korean people bigger success in their endeavor for socialist construction under the guidance of the Party, saying that the world people who love justice are lauding the DPRK as the model of the anti-imperialist struggle and an invincible country.

Colorful celebrations included photo exhibitions.

Websites Patrioti Moskva and Friends of Korea, the homepage of Khabinfo.ru, an internet news agency of Khabarovsk Territory of Russia, and the homepage of the Association for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism in the Far Eastern Region of Russia posted photos documenting the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un's visit to Russia.

A celebration was also held by a Russian group for solidarity with the DPRK.
