Those institutes have scores of up-to-date research rooms and labs, which serve as a material and technical foundation for scientific research conducive to stable and sustained development of the agricultural production.

The completion of the modern institutes makes it possible to push ahead with the scientific research for carrying out the Party's policy of seed improvement by applying latest biological successes and for developing and introducing products of prediction and biological means of exterminating harmful insects.

It also provides a firm foundation for the research into agrochemical products like various kinds of fertilizers, nutrients and seed-covering materials based on nano-technology, and for the establishment of effective production methods and application technologies.

Ri Chol Man, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Ju Chol Gyu, vice-premier of the Cabinet and minister of Agriculture, and officials concerned visited the newly-built institutes on May 2.
