Production of Farming Materials Prioritized in DPRK

Pyongyang, May 15 (KCNA) -- The sector of machine industry is giving priority to producing and supplying farming materials necessary for this year's farming, true to the decisions made at the 2nd Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The Huichon Precision Machine Plant fulfilled their annual plan for the production of tractor accessories ahead of schedule by waging a campaign for increased production.

The Pyongyang Bearing Factory and the Ryangchaek Bearing Factory produced all sorts of bearings necessary for repairing and overhauling farming machines in a short period.

The Pyongyang Electric Cable Factory 326 rounded off the production of all kinds of electric wires to be used in farming by increasing the operating ratio of equipment.

Workers of several other factories are putting spurs to the production of farming equipment and materials by tapping internal reserves.
