Present there were Pak Ku Ho, first vice-chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) and concurrently director of its Organization Department, Song Kun Hak, vice-chairman and concurrently director of its Education Department, Han Tong Song, rector of the university, and its teaching staff and students.

Han Tong Song in a report recalled that the university has made steady progress in the work for training the students to be the pillars of the movement of Koreans in Japan and successors to the patriotic cause for the past five years.

He called on the teaching staff and students to open up a heyday in national education and make a fresh turn in their educational work and study this year that marks the 75th anniversary of the enforcement of the general secondary education and the 65th founding anniversary of the university.

Oath-taking speeches were made.

Pak Ku Ho in a concluding speech, calling for repaying the warm benevolence of Kim Jong Un with intense loyalty, clarified the tasks for developing the university.
