It contains 61 works including talks, speeches, letters and congratulatory messages released by the Chairman from October, Juche 71 (1982) to July, Juche 72 (1983).

The works comprehensively deal with the ideological and theoretical exploits performed by the Chairman who indicated the ways of the struggle for making a new leap forward in developing our Party and building socialism.

Among them are the works indicating the orientation and ways for strengthening the Workers' Party of Korea into the party of President Kim Il Sung forever and the works dealing with the idea that officials should more thoroughly prepare themselves as revolutionary soldiers believing in and following the President only.

Some works deal with the exploits of the Chairman who put his heart and soul into sprucing up Pyongyang City as a magnificent and modern one, and clarify the original ideas and theories of preserving and glorifying the traditions and exploits performed by our Party in the field of literature and art and of creating more masterpieces.

Other works set forth the principled matters for tightening the legal order of the country and firmly establishing the revolutionary law-abiding climate throughout society.

The volume also carries the works that give solutions to the theoretical and practical issues arising in revolutionary struggle and construction, including the issue of improving and strengthening the Party's guidance over the work of the working people's organizations, the issue of establishing Juche in editing newspapers and the issue of developing mass sports.
