Lunar Eclipse Observed
Pyongyang, May 27 (KCNA) -- A lunar eclipse was observed in the DPRK on Wednesday.

Researchers at the Pyongyang Observatory of the State Academy of Sciences said that it was a full lunar eclipse and estimated that it began from about 18:45 and ended at around 21:53. They estimated that the moon fell directly in the centre of the earth's shadow at about 20:19.

The moon can clearly be observed at around 19:45 in Pyongyang in clear weather. However, due to the cloudy weather in the evening, the researchers said that the full observation of the lunar eclipse was difficult.

Nonetheless, the lunar eclipse was partially witnessed across the country.
