Graduates of Orphans' Schools Volunteer to Work in Difficult Fields
Pyongyang, May 27 (KCNA) -- Graduates of Tonghae School for Orphans and Sohae School for Orphans volunteered to work in major worksites for socialist construction out of their will to glorify their youth in the struggle for the prosperity of the country. They finished their school courses under the warm care of the mother Party.

About 80 graduates of Tonghae School for Orphans volunteered to work at coal mines and farms in Kangwon Province.

Dozens of its graduates went to the Chonnae Area Coal-mining Complex and some volunteered to work at the Phochon Co-op Farm, Hoeyang County.

20-odd graduates of Sohae School for Orphans went to the Ryongdae Youth Coal Mine of the Sunchon Area Youth Coal-mining Complex. 50 graduates of the school volunteered to work at the Yoldusamchon Farm in Sukchon County and the Ryongrim Cooperative Farm in Mundok County.

Congratulatory meetings took place at the schools on May 26.

The young volunteers were given a warm send-off by officials concerned, officials, teaching staff and students of the schools, being presented with souvenirs.
