Present at the tree-planting ceremony were officials concerned including those of the Ministry of Culture of the Khabarovsk Territory Administration and the DPRK deputy consul general and consuls in Khabarovsk.

The participants planted good species of tree saplings around the monument to Kim Jong Il's visit to the city erected in the Utsos Park and posed for a picture.

An assistant manager of the park said that it was an honor to plant trees in the park visited by Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the 57th anniversary of his start of work at the C.C., WPK.

The assistant manager noted that the employees of the park more deeply realized the Korean people's profound reverence for their leader and noble spirit, seeing Koreans taking good care of the monument erected in the park every day.

The trees planted today will be grown to add pleasure to the visitors to the park and the monument and help them know better about the history of the Russia-DPRK friendship, the assistant manager added.
