North Hwanghae Province pushes forward with the project for remodeling the essential foodstuff factories while putting efforts into preparing raw materials and resources in a far-sighted way.

Modernization of all production processes, from a fermentation process to goods packing, is underway at the Sariwon Winery. The Jongbangsan General Foodstuff Factory is establishing new processes for producing fruit jams and tea.

A process for separating?maize embryo has been built at foodstuff factories in the province and massive cultivation of sunflower, perilla, sesame and rape is encouraged.

Kangwon Province has taken substantial measures to improve the provincial economy after setting a high goal for it.

The province also took measures to resolve the acute shortage of fertilizer and fuel by using potassic feldspar, apatite and ultra-anthracite abundant in the province.

South Phyongan Province concentrates efforts on recycling, deeming it the key to normalizing the production and ensuring the economic profits at factories and enterprises.

So the number of the units making progress by their own efforts is on the increase in the province.

South Hamgyong Province also pushes forward with the modernization of the provincial industry while increasing the production of quality consumer goods.
