Timely measures were taken to smoothly supply raw materials and fuel needed for the fertilizer production by strengthening the organic relation with relevant units.

The Hungnam Fertilizer Complex arranged raw material production processes by its own efforts, in cooperation with a scientific research unit. Its workers carried out the national economic plan at 101.7 percent in May by raising the equipment operation rate and the actual extraction rate.

The Namhung Youth Chemical Complex, too, has overfulfilled its daily production plan through the active introduction of rational technical innovative plans, which help lower the standard of material consumption per unit, and supplied much amount of fertilizer to farms until now this year.

The fertilizer production in the country is now further increasing thanks to the high enthusiasm of the officials and workers at the chemical industrial sector who turned out in the implementation of the decisions made at the 8th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea.
