The first secretary of the Amur Regional Branch Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation said Chairman Kim Jong Il's start of work at the WPK Central Committee 57 years ago was an event of great significance in the history of the WPK.

Under his leadership, the WPK developed into the revolutionary party which has achieved the steel-strong unity and cohesion centered on its leader and into the popular party that has taken its deep roots among the broad masses of people, the first secretary noted.

The chairman of the Central Committee of the Worker-Peasant Party of Pakistan and the secretary general of the Pakistan Association for Self-Reliance Studies noted that Chairman Kim Jong Il led the WPK to victory, thus making great contributions to the cause of the global peace and independence. The Chairman also put forward the Songun politics as the main socialist political mode and the Party's mode of revolution and vigorously advanced the cause of socialism in the DPRK through his original Songun revolutionary leadership, they added.

The national chairman of the Better Nigeria Progressive Party and the chairman of the Nigerian National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism told about the proud realities of the DPRK, where a great transformation is witnessed every day under the outstanding leadership of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un. Praising the DPRK as a dignified nation independent in politics and self-supporting in economy, they said that world-startling miracles are being performed in the DPRK under the guidance of the WPK.
