Amid the sincere efforts of agricultural workers across the country for sunflower cultivation, sowing of sunflower seeds successfully finished in time in North Hamgyong Province.

Cities and counties in the province secured seeds of good strains and fully prepared organic fertilizer to timely conclude the sowing.

Different farms in South Hamgyong Province and other provinces also rounded off the sowing of sunflower seeds. They based their work on a scientific calculation, regarding it as one of the important ways of increasing the per-hectare yield in sunflower cultivation, like in cereal production, to prevent the damage by disastrous weather.
