A collective innovation movement is being conducted in earnest among workers and trade union members of industrial establishments in the DPRK.

Trade union committees of industrial establishments set proper goals and stages of the movement for creating model lathes following the example of Lathe No. 26. They have brought about marked growth in production by putting operation of equipment on a normal footing and fully preparing spare parts and tools.

While taking the lead in carrying out difficult jobs for overhauling equipment through a mass technical innovation drive, trade union members do their bit in restoring equipment to original state and increasing production by taping all internal reserves.

Trade union organizations in North Phyongan and South Hamgyong provinces help agricultural workers by dispatching teams for repairing farm machines?to different farms. They also offer necessary materials to them.
