The city, which set a high goal for establishing a modern station specializing in sea culture, finished its construction in a short span of time. Preparations for its inauguration are stepped up at the final stage.

The city also pushes ahead with the project for sprucing up the Nampho Fish Farm and other units to be model ones under detailed plans.

Fries are bred in a cage-net fish farm which covers an area of 14,000 square meters and is run in a sci-tech way.

In order to generalize the method of producing protein-rich feed with insects like gadfly, the city also laid the foundations for breeding them to be supplied to fisheries and other units breeding fish as a sideline.

The city also puts efforts into strengthening the foundations of its breed fish farms. Fishponds are repaired extensively amid the work for introducing different advanced methods into fish-breeding.
