Under the wise guidance of President Kim Il Sung, the mill over-fulfilled its economic assignment every year in the period of the great Chollima upswing. As a result, it produced the first Chollima workteam and won the title of Chollima Factory for the first time in Pyongyang City.

In those days, Kil Hwak Sil, an ordinary workteam head of the mill, became a forerunner of communist education well known to the country.
