The Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea and organizations affiliated to the union at all levels meticulously organized the work for all agricultural workers to plant more fruit trees and trees of good species around their houses in the period of the spring general mobilization for land management this year.

As a result, millions of trees have taken roots this year.

Agricultural workers of Pyongyang planted tens of thousands of fruit trees and trees of good species, out of strong love for their hometowns.

The North Phyongan Provincial Committee of the union has planted hundreds of thousands of trees through careful organization after setting clear stage-by-stage goals.

Therefore, the number of families with 10 ~ 15 fruit trees and trees of good species has increased.

Other organizations under the union are putting efforts in selecting and planting trees suited to the climatic and topographic features of each area, and are fertilizing and tending them on a scientific basis.

The experiences of those families which get benefit from constant endeavor are generalized.

The supply of saplings preceded, leading to success, and enthusiasm has risen among agricultural workers for the work.
