Choe Ryong Hae Inspects Koksan County in North Hwanghae Province
Pyongyang, June 29 (KCNA) -- Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, first vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly, inspected farms and industrial factories in Koksan County.

Looking round Phyongam and Ryulli co-op farms and Phyongam Reservoir, he reminded their officials and agricultural workers of the idea of the Third Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea which stressed the importance of doing this year's farming well. He asked them to add glory to the peerlessly great men's leadership feats associated with the Miru Plain with increased grain production with the extraordinary awareness and the stand as befits the masters.

He took measures for radically increasing the grain production in the main granary of the country by doing qualitatively the urgent farming work at the right time, enhancing the proportion of mechanization and making full preparations for tackling the disastrous weather, in particular.

Learning in detail about the production in the local industrial sector including a foodstuff factory, an essential plastic goods factory and a garment factory in the county, he underscored the need to boost the production at local industrial factories by tapping all production potential and promoting recycling in keeping with the regional characteristics.

The field consultative meeting, on the basis of the scientific analysis of the situation of the farming and industrial factories in Koksan County, discussed the practical issues arising in taking legal measures for ensuring the stability of the overall agricultural production of the country and its sustainable growth and bringing about independent and diversified development of cities and counties. The meeting also stressed the need to enhance the role of law explainers and establish a strong law-abiding climate.
