At the farm resembling a rural town, there are hundreds of modern dwellings equipped with all the necessary living conditions like solar water heater and solar electric power system. And it has hundreds of blocks of modernly-equipped greenhouses, which produce nearly 20 species of vegetables for supply to the citizens.

Many peasants of the farm have got well versed in the agricultural science and technology through a tele-education system and a sci-tech distribution network.

At the farm there are also a nursery, a kindergarten and schools and an all-round welfare service center called Jangchon Health Complex.

Visiting the farm in June Juche 103 (2014), the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un set forth a task for turning it into a highly-civilized rural town. And he guided the layout for its construction several times and settled the problems arising in it.

Thanks to his wise guidance, the farm underwent a cataclysmic change in less than one year.

In recent years, the farm further perfected its ring-shaped rotation production system and introduced a solution culture and other advanced agricultural methods to raise the production of crops 1.5 times.
