On the basis of analyzing and reviewing successes, experience and deviations revealed in the first half of the year officials of the Ministry of Machine-building Industry and relevant units have consulted substantial measures and assigned tasks for fulfilling the second half-yearly plan unconditionally, thoroughly and accurately.

They encourage the masses to display the sense of responsibility, creativity and activeness in carrying out the national economic plan by directing efforts to the work of arming them with the idea and spirit of the plenary meetings of the Party Central Committee.

They have seriously discussed ways for attaining the militant goal for this year without fail and taken practical measures as required by the reality.

Now work is underway to readjust and reinforce production processes as clarified in the plan for the second half of this year according to the Party's economic strategy.

Practical measures are being taken to produce more tractors and trucks of good efficiency through powerful mass technical innovation movement and stronger collaboration with relevant units.

Also pushed ahead with is the production of goods to be sent to different sectors of the national economy and equipment to be sent to the construction site of 10,000 flats in Pyongyang City.

Several units are solidifying the foundation for revitalizing production while further consolidating successes and experience gained in locally producing equipment, raw and other materials and recycling.
