The power stations in Kangwon, Jagang, North Hwanghae and South Phyongan provinces rationally operate generators, according to their technical features, after putting water-level control on a scientific basis, thus increasing electricity production every day.

By intensifying the work for enhancing the technical skills of employees, they timely resolve the problems arising in updating equipment and ensuring production growth. They also enhance the stability and efficiency of generators while taking steps to make effective use of water.

The power stations in North Hamgyong and North Phyongan provinces introduced new efficient water wheels and integrated power production system. They ensure high water level and high-efficiency operation to over-fulfill their daily production plans.

Different power stations in those provinces, which invented new generators, ensure their frequency at a high level and reduce the loss of electricity in transmission.

Several power stations in South Hamgyong Province also increase production by promoting various technical innovation plans for increasing the capacity of generators and fully preparing necessary spare parts.
