Production of Generating Equipment for Orangchon Power Station No. 3 Finished in DPRK

Pyongyang, July 5 (KCNA) -- Workers of the Taean Heavy Machine Complex, who work hard to carry out this year's struggle goal, true to the idea and spirit of the 3rd Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, successfully finished the production of generating equipment for the Orangchon Power Station No. 3.

The complex has introduced more than 10 sci-tech achievements by intensifying the research into improving the performance of hydro-power generating equipment.

The workers stepped up the production of generator shaft and other components by introducing rational methods for increasing the processing speed and quality by pooling their collective wisdom and efforts.

They also finished the processing of turbine shafts in time by increasing the operating ratio of equipment and over-fulfilled the daily plan for processing and assembling generators by stepping up their technical updating.
