Concrete Tamping of Sinhong Dam of Tanchon Power Station No. 5 Finished

| Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- Soldier-builders successfully finished the concrete tamping of the Sinhong dam of Tanchon Power Station No. 5, true to the Party's intention of completing the power station as early as possible. As the dam was constructed up the Namchon River, it has become possible to push forward with the overall construction of the Tanchon Power Station by ensuring the earlier inauguration of Tanchon Power Station No. 5 and to increase the electricity production at Hochongang power stations nos. 2, 3 and 4. |
