Now the spirit of great creation and innovation is fully displayed and invaluable successes for achieving prosperity by dint of self-reliance witnessed in every socialist construction site for implementing the Party's struggle programme.

Many sectors and units of the national economy are making positive and marked changes in accomplishing the national economic plans and strengthening the internal motive forces by questing and tapping all reserves and potentialities.

Getting stronger is the faith of the Korean people to materialize their far-reaching ideal and great ambition by dint of self-reliance in the face of lingering challenges and obstructions, and it serves as the most precious asset for ensuing progress and development.

Through an unyielding struggle the stout-hearted Korean people have realized how to exist on their own efforts, overcome difficulties and defend their own dignity and rights. They are waging a dynamic drive, holding fast to the practical means for innovation provided by the Party Central Committee.

When the tasks of struggle set forth by the Party are successfully accomplished, the Korean people's march toward a new victory in socialist construction will gain bigger momentum and they will advance toward attainment of a higher target with great courage and confidence.
