A ceremony of laying floral baskets before the statue of the President took place at Yuwen Middle School in Jilin.

The participants made a bow to the statue of the President in the school after placing floral baskets in the names of the General Association of Koreans in China and the Association of Korean Women in China.

Choe Su Bong, first vice-chairman of the General Association, officials and members of the General Association, its Zhongnan Regional Association, the Federation of Korean Economic Workers in China, the Association of Korean Women in China, the Association of Young Korean Nationals in China and Korean nationals of Shenyang City placed floral baskets before the portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and art works depicting them at the DPRK embassy in Beijing and at the DPRK General Consulate in Shenyang.

A meeting of the general association took place in Shenyang City.

An article written by Choe Su Bong in memory of the President was read out at the meeting.

A letter to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.

Then the participants watched a film.

Meanwhile, the Yanbian Regional Association of the general association held a memorial meeting.
