The contest is aimed at improving the technical level of skilled workers and consolidating the material and technical foundations of the metal industry.

Ace welders selected from ministries, national institutions and provincial people's committees take part in the contest.

The participants, divided into different groups, will have their expert knowledge and tools verified during the contest.

They have to implement their tasks in a fixed time while observing the technical rules. Then, quality of their work will be appraised and the rankings decided.

The contest will continue until late July.
