Pyongyang, August 3 (KCNA) -- The songs, created during the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle led by President Kim Il Sung, still now serve as a precious source of ideological and moral strength that instills the revolutionary spirit of Paektu into the minds of the people in the DPRK and encourages them to perform miracles and feats. Such revolutionary songs as "Song of Korea", "Nostalgia" and "Song of Anti-Japanese War", immortal classics created by the President, "Song of the Red Flag" and "Song of the Revolutionary Army" implanted hostility against the enemy in the minds of the revolutionary fighters as well as the feelings of ardent love for the homeland, native place and family and gave them the revolutionary faith and optimism that the liberation of the country would be achieved without fail. The anti-Japanese revolutionary songs have given confidence and vitality to the advancing ranks in every annals of the Korean revolution. Singing the songs, the Korean people and servicepersons vigorously advanced towards the victory of socialism without pessimism and hesitation. The revolutionary songs are resounding loudly in the ongoing general onward march for building a powerful socialist nation under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un. Ri Kye Bong, chief engineer of the Pyongyang Textile Machine Factory, told KCNA: Whenever we encountered difficulties, we sang those revolutionary songs. The songs make us picture the anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners braving all difficulties and ordeals and burn our hearts with their noble idea and indomitable fighting spirit. We will courageously struggle for a new victory of the revolution, singing the songs. |
