Miners of the Sangnong Mine drastically increase the production by concentrating labor and means on the areas with good mining conditions and rich deposits and introducing rational drilling and blasting methods.

They resolved the shortage of different machine parts by their own efforts and remodeled a stirrer in cooperation with a scientific research organ, thus contributing to putting the production on a normal track.

Other mines including the Ssangryong Mine and the Riwon Mine exploit a great amount of ores every day by locating compressors and other tunneling equipment near the faces and establishing firm foundations for massive mining and transport.
