Hauling Capacity Increases in Coal Mines of DPRK
Pyongyang, August 4 (KCNA) -- The coal industrial sector of the DPRK pushes ahead with the project for boosting the hauling capacity of coal mines.

Officials of the Ministry of Coal Industry and coal mining complexes pay their primary attention to the supply of raw materials needed for speeding up the construction of belt conveyors and cableways in coal mines. They resolve the problems arising in the project together with the officials of the mines.

The construction of a belt conveyor nears completion in the Ryongdae Youth Coal Mine.

After finishing the tunneling, expansion and concreting of a belt-conveyor pit early in July, the mine steps up the construction of ground structures and the assembly of equipment.

The Pongchon Coal Mine introduces technical innovation schemes into the project for establishing hundreds of meters-long belt conveyor.

Construction of cableways is underway in the Hoean Youth Coal Mine.

Coal-mining machine factories increase the production of belt conveyor and cableway parts, thus contributing to increasing the hauling capacity of the coal mines.
