The Korea Sports Association of the Disabled, the Korean Art Association of the Disabled, etc. are making contributions to the health recovery and social, cultural and leisure activities of the disabled.

The disabled persons are taking an active part in various sports games, including swimming, archery and table tennis.

In the DPRK, the Table Tennis Tournament for Disabled and Amateurs has been held on over ten occasions amid the concern of many people.

People's Athlete Ri Pun Hui, secretary of the Korea Sports Association of the Disabled, said that in the DPRK, the disabled persons also lead a happy life free from cares and worries and such reality is a praiseworthy fruit of the Party's policy of protecting the disabled which is run through with warm love and affection for human being.

Even foreigners, after seeing the matches of the disabled persons of the DPRK in several international games, said that the DPRK players displayed good technique and high spirit and they were young but fortitudinous, expressing hope for visiting the DPRK that produced such players.

Enforced in the DPRK are the politics of loving care for the people that make every policy of the Party and the government reflect all dreams of the people.
