Nguyen Xuan Phuc in the message expressed his sincere gratitude to Kim Jong Un for sending a congratulatory message to him upon his election as president of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for 2021-2026 tenure at the First Meeting of the 15th National Assembly (July 26, 2021).

The message expressed the belief that thanks to the common efforts of the two parties, two states and two peoples, the traditional friendly relations between the two countries would steadily grow stronger for peace, stability, cooperation and development of the region and the rest of the world in the interests of the peoples of the two countries.

Nguyen Xuan Phuc said in the message that he takes this opportunity to sincerely hope that the Korean people continue to make fresher and greater successes in the cause of construction and development of the country under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

The message wished Kim Jong Un good health and more successes in performing his noble duty.
