The theme of the presentation was adjustment and reinforcement of production foundation and optimal operation of power stations. The aim was to encourage the exchanges and generalization of rational sci-tech methods for increasing power production to satisfactorily meet the demand of the national economy for power.

Presented were more than 60 scientific and technological pieces from scientists, technicians and members of the three-revolution teams of more than ten units including Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology and the Heat Engineering Institute of the State Academy of Sciences.
