National Sci-tech Presentation of IT Field Held in DPRK

| Pyongyang, August 20 (KCNA) -- A national sci-technological presentation of the IT field was held through video conferencing on Aug. 17-19 under the joint sponsorship of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea and the Education Commission. The presentation was aimed at sharing and generalizing educational IT successes conducive to ensuring nonstop education of students under such emergency situation as protracted global health crisis and natural disaster. More than 100 pamphlets on such successes were submitted to the presentation attended by teachers, researchers, postgraduates and undergraduates from Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology, Kim Hyong Jik University of Education, etc. During the presentation there was a lecture on the issues arising in applying artificial intelligence to education. |
