The province set it as this year's goal to complete the construction of the Unjonsamgwang Stockbreeding Farm and modernization of the Kusong Chicken Farm, the Sinuiju Chicken Farm and the Army-People Ryongchon Pig Farm.

Officials and builders involved in the construction of the Unjonsamgwang Stockbreeding Farm laid foundations for massively raising good breeds of sheep. They push forward with the construction of a building for milk processing, dwelling houses for employees, goat pens and public buildings as scheduled.

The Sinuiju Chicken Farm remodeled its combined feed processing ground and newly established a fermented feed production line and a feed additive production line. The Kusong Chicken Farm also set up fermented feed and feed additive production lines and built a ground for breeding Hermetia illucens to be used as feed for chickens.

The Army-People Ryongchon Pig Farm also builds a ground for producing fermented feed based on additives and a ground for breeding protein insects.

Changsong County, which built a sheep ranch, concentrates on creating grass fields for massively breeding sheep, goats and other grass-eating animals.
