10,000 youths including the young people who volunteered to work in difficult and labor consuming fields, true to the decisions of the 8th Congress of the Party, and exemplary officials of the youth league will take part in the celebrations of the Youth Day.

They, who were warmly sent off by officials, working people, youth and students, arrived in Pyongyang on August 26.

Leading officials of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea including its Department Director Ri Tu Song and officials of the Central Committee of the youth league warmly greeted the participants.

The participants were overwhelmed by their gratitude to the Party Central Committee for leading the young people of the new generation to dynamically advance straight forward, always following the Party, and bringing them up to be performers of heroic feats.

Many youth and students and citizens extended warm greetings to the participants, waving flowers along the streets of Pyongyang including Sungri Street, Changjon Crossroads and University Street.

The participants headed for their lodging quarters, feeling the great pride and self-confidence of glorifying their youth as honorable socialist builders under the great loving care and trust of the mother Party.
