The chairman of the British Association for the Study of Songun Policy at a seminar said that August 25, 1960 is recorded in history as a day when Kim Jong Il gave a field guidance to the Seoul Ryu Kyong Su Guards 105th Tank Division of the Korean People's Army (KPA). He added that thanks to the day the KPA has become an invincible army firmly defending the security of the country and the people.

Figures of political parties and organizations in Nepal including the Central Committee of the Nepal Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist), the Nepal Journalist Association, the Study Forum for Self-Reliance of Nepal, the Nepal Institute for the Juche Studies and the Nepalese Association for Supporting the Songun Politics said that Kim Jong Il turned the country into a powerful country which no formidable enemies dare provoke by continuously giving field guidance to the units of the KPA. They stressed that the exploits of H.E. Kim Jong Il who led the Korean revolution to victory till the last period of his revolutionary life will be everlasting.
