The farm, turned into a thriving orchard under the wise guidance of the Workers' Party Korea, has increased the production by putting the cultivation of fruit trees on a sci-tech basis in recent years.

It systematically raised the fertility of soil by applying tens of tons of quality organic compost per hectare every year and favorably changed the microflora structure of soil with various microorganisms like blue-green algae. It also developed nano agrochemicals by its own efforts to increase the fruit production in a sustained way.

The farm is associated with warm love of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who has always worked heart and soul to improve the people's standard of living.

He visited the farm several times to turn it into a large-scale fruit producer. One day in September Juche 105 (2016), he came to it and appreciated its employees for having brought the richest fruit harvest ever known.

That day, he indicated the tasks facing the farm for its further development, including the issues that it should take the lead in holding fast to the banner of scientific fruit farming, arrange sci-tech learning space at each branch farm and establish the food production cycle for fruit farming and stockbreeding.
