Korean Tigers Increase at Central Zoo of DPRK
Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- Korean tigers are increasing at the Central Zoo of the DPRK, one of the popular attractions.

Two tiger cubs were born in March and three in April.

The two cubs (both female) and the three (one male and two female) weighed approximately 1.5~2 kg at birth.

Now they weigh over 10 kg.

A full-grown Korean tiger normally weighs one hundred and scores of kilograms and its total length (tail length added) is 2.5 meters.

People are pleased with the increased Korean tigers, a rare breed of tiger, saying that it is a very good omen.

The Central Zoo has put the breeding of animals on a sci-tech basis, thus increasing the number of animals such as giraffe and horse of European breed.
