Present there were Ri Tu Song, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Pak In Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the GFTUK, officials and members of the union and workers in Pyongyang.

The concert, which began with chorus "Long Live Generalissimo Kim Il Sung", expressed the great pride and self-esteem of the workers and members of the union significantly celebrating the founding anniversary of the dignified DPRK.

The performers highly praised the revolutionary lives and feats of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who built the DPRK to be a country dignified with independence, self-sustenance and self-defence, and a genuine country of the people, and demonstrated its invincibility all over the world.

Narrative poem "Sun of Destiny" and female solo "My Mother" and other numbers represented the ardent reverence for the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

The concert showed the enthusiasm of the participants to powerfully display the militant spirit of the heroic Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il working class, a core unit for carrying out the revolutionary cause of Juche. It ended with chorus "Our National Flag".
