Many new products have been manufactured since the outset of this year, thanks to the devoted efforts of the officials and workers all out for implementing the Party policy of improving the quality of products on the principle of giving priority to quality over quantity and directing efforts to development of new products.

Officials of the Ministry of Light Industry innovated economic operation and guidance, regarding it as an important task in diversifying consumer goods to boost the production of the August 3 consumer goods.

Consumer goods producers set it as a goal to produce popular goods by producing more consumer goods with locally available raw materials and resources and improving their quality. Efforts are concentrated on the production of 206 sundry goods.

They increase the output of different kinds of consumer goods such as high-quality textile goods, daily necessities, plastic vessels, shoes, soaps and notebooks.

Officials and workers of consumer goods production units in different parts of the country share good experience with each other, while vying with each other in producing better goods and developing new products.
