Rosin for Stringed Instruments Developed
Pyongyang, September 14 (KCNA) -- A brisk work has been pushed ahead in the DPRK to ensure the materials for musical instruments with domestic raw materials.

Rosin for stringed instruments, developed by Ri Kwang Chol, chief of a section at the State Musical Instrument Research Institute, is now gaining popularity among the instrumentalists.

Kim Chol Ryong, an instrumentalist of the Orchestra of Pyongyang Kim Won Gyun Conservatory, and others of such leading art troupes as the Mansudae Art Troupe, the National Symphony Orchestra and the Phibada Opera Troupe told KCNA that the newly developed rosin is better than imported ones.

This rosin manufacturing method was highly estimated at the Pyongyang Musical Instruments Exhibition and national youth sci-tech successes exhibition held in recent years.
