National Sci-Tech Presentation of Metallic Materials Sector Held

| Pyongyang, September 17 (KCNA) -- A national sci-tech presentation on metallic materials took place through video conferencing from September 14 to 16 under the sponsorship of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea. The theme of the presentation is "Development of Metallic Materials Based on Our Country's Resources" The presentation was aimed at dynamically promoting the country's development of materials technology through comprehensive sharing of sci-tech successes made in metallic materials sector and exchange of good experience. It was attended by teachers, researchers, graduate students and field technicians from Kim Chaek University of Technology, Ferrous Metal Research Institute under the State Academy of Sciences and other several units. Presented to it were over 40 essays on scientific research successes conducive to the development of the national economy. During the presentation, a lecture on the trend of development of metallic materials was given. |
