Attending the seminar were figures of the African Regional Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Communist Party of the Democratic Congo and the Democratic Congo-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Association and members of the organizations for the study of the Juche idea in DR Congo, including the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of DR Congo.

The deputy general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the DR Congo who is the chairman of the Democratic Congo-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Association made a keynote address at the seminar.

He said that President Kim Il Sung founded the DPRK to open up a new era for the building of an independent and sovereign state.

Saying it is the greatest exploit of Kim Il Sung that he successfully settled the issue of succession to the revolutionary cause of Juche, the speaker stressed that thanks to the outstanding leadership of Chairman Kim Jong Il, the DPRK could invariably follow the road of its development, breaking through the upheavals of history, under the uplifted banner of the Juche idea.

He praised the revolutionary exploits of Kim Jong Un who has put the DPRK on the position of strategic state with his toughness despite the vicious moves of the hostile forces and developed it into the one and only country of the people in the world.

Speakers said that African countries should build a new society by relying on the might of the people, smashing the imperialists' moves for interference and aggression, under the uplifted banner of independence.

A solidarity statement was adopted at the seminar.
