The workshop dealt with important matters arising in the current work of the women's union, including the one to increase the role of the city and county committees of the union in the struggle for thoroughly carrying out the important tasks set forth in the historic letter sent by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un to the participants in the 7th Congress of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea (SWUK).

Kim Jong Sun, chairwomen of the Central Committee of the SWUK, and officials of the Central Committee of the union, took the platform.

The workshop discussed it as an important subject to preserve and glorify the revolutionary nature of the women's union by furthering the work for establishing the unified leadership system of the respected General Secretary.

It was dealt with at the workshop to launch a dynamic offensive for ideological education to fully prepare all members of the women's union to be genuine Kimilsungists-Kimjongilists.

The workshop also discussed the matters of intensifying the education and campaign for sweeping away the anti-socialist and non-socialist practices.

During the workshop, the participants visited the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex and conducted various political and cultural activities, including a show of multimedia.
