"Complete Collection of Kim Jong Il's Work" Vol. 39 Published
Pyongyang, September 29 (KCNA) -- The Workers' Party of Korea Publishing House brought out Vol. 39 of the "Complete Collection of Kim Jong Il's Works" carrying Chairman Kim Jong Il's works in chronological order and in a systematic and comprehensive way.

The volume contains 46 works including historic speeches, talks and letters of the Chairman from November, Juche 74 (1985) to June, Juche 75 (1986).

In his works, the Chairman called for bringing about a new upswing in socialist construction by further enhancing the leadership role of the Party and for radically improving the work with the masses as required by the developing revolution.

The works also underline the need to intensify education on the Juche idea to thoroughly arm the Party members and working people with it and dynamically accelerate socialist economic construction by giving full play to the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance and fortitude.

They also urge the People's Army to put steady efforts into enhancing the responsibility and role of political officers of its companies and battalions and conduct the Party political work properly so as to thoroughly prepare all service personnel politically and ideologically.

The Chairman, in his works, laid down the tasks in fully demonstrating the might of the self-supporting national economy and developing different sectors of the national economy. He also specified the ways to develop the art and literature of the country into revolutionary ones which tangibly contribute to the great cause of modeling the whole society on the Juche idea.

The volume also contains the works giving clear-cut answers to such theoretical and practical issues arising in the revolutionary struggle and construction work as the issue of properly understanding the superiority of the Korean nation, the issue of further intensifying the work for public security and the issue of popularizing sports and rapidly developing sporting skills.
