The Ministry of Forestry set yearly and long-term plans based on the geographical characteristics and realistic conditions of the areas, and is carrying them out without fail.

Until September, the ministry has carried out tree-planting in thousands of hectares of felled and treeless areas respectively followed by the additional planting of saplings and substantial cultivation and management, thus highly increasing the rate of rooting.

Forest fire prevention, the primary task in forest protection, was carried out on a mass scale and many structures such as stone cut-offs and water catchments were made.

Afforestation stations have created parasitic bee breeding grounds, solved the breeding parasitic bee and feed issues on their own and released lots of parasitic bees so as to minimize damage by forest pest. They have also set up a biological insecticide production process and regularized production.
