The inaugural ceremony was held on October 3.

Present there were Ri Thae Il, chief secretary of the Ryanggang Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Ri Song Guk, chairman of the Ryanggang Provincial People's Committee, officials concerned and employees of the factory.

At the end of the ceremony, the participants looked round the factory.
